Project Manager -
Software Delivery

Experience Required: 

We are looking for a project manager to be based out of London or the home counties. This is a business critical role and requires a delivery focused candidate with technical aptitude to join a growing team of professionals designing and delivering cutting edge software. This role is very much an end to end software delivery role and requires a strong track record in software related delivery as well as an expert knowledge of the full SDLC. Ideally you would have come from a development background, moved into a team lead position and have exposure of managing project teams and project lifecycle's.

Ideally you will have;

  • Experience of managing software teams and software delivery
  • Expert understanding of the SDLC
  • Software Design or Development background
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication, analytical, presentation & articulation skills
  • Good people management skills (you will be managing onshore and offshore delivery teams)
  • Knowledge for popular languages: .NET, Ruby on Rails, PHP will be a plus
  • Ability to think out of the box to offer creative/innovate solutions
  • A hands on attitude towards quality assurance (yes when required you will be expected to get your hands dirty)
  • PM certification (Prince 2, PMI, etc) would be desirable though not essential.
  • Experience of having worked with geographically displaced teams is a plus though not essential
  • Willing to travel overseas when required.
